Our friends at the Ethical Butcher are on a similar mission to connect nature, the impact of our choices and what we consume.
The Ethical Butcher source their meat from farms who are practicing regenerative agriculture meaning they are actively improving biodiversity on the land they manage, giving back more than they take, these methods also build new topsoil and make the land more resilient and in the best cases can be carbon negative.
The animals farmed are rare and heritage breeds best suited to the terroir being farmed, they are also slow grown giving a depth and range of flavour that conventional farming can't match.
From their seasonal recipes to the environmentally friendly packaging that arrives on your doorstep, each step of the process – from farm to table – has been carefully considered.
Thankfully eating meat shouldn’t cost the earth and now it doesn’t have to. We are partnering with the Ethical butcher throughout January on a number of projects as part of their Regenuary period.
Regenuary is a campaign coined by The Ethical Butcher three years ago to run throughout January to help educate the consumer in how to source more of their food from regenerative agriculture and encourage more discussion on the true impact of our food choices.
