My Perfect Day on Lamb’s Conduit Street. A reflection by Nick Reed, Founder of Neem London.
There are streets in London that feel less like postcodes and more like quiet declarations of character. Lamb’s Conduit Street is one of them. A place where Bloomsbury’s literary past meets the gentle hum of modern craft.
At Neem, we’ve now been part of this street for a year. A small milestone perhaps, but one that means a great deal to us. And so, to mark the anniversary, we’ve launched something close to our hearts: the Lambs Conduit Collection, a breezy, effortless summer capsule photographed on the very pavements that have shaped our daily rhythm, with our friend and long‑time Neem supporter, Guy Robinson.
It is, in many ways, a love letter to the best menswear shopping street in London.
Model and friend of Neem, Guy Robinson, is the face of The Lambs Conduit Collection. Jon Holmes, customer turned friend, we recently interviewed, read HERE.
Good and Proper: The Neem Way
At Neem, we choose a different way of doing things.
We believe in doing things good and proper, from the yarn we select to the way our clothes are made, to the way we welcome and look after the people who walk through our door. When things are done good and proper, they feel better. They last longer. And you feel good wearing them.
It’s why we’ve committed ourselves to sustainable menswear, to being one of the best sustainable men’s clothing brands in the UK, and to proving that style and responsibility can sit comfortably, side by side. Our pieces are crafted from ethically sourced fibres, like recycled cotton, designed to be returned, recycled, and re‑loved through out Take Back Scheme. Whether it’s men’s chinos sustainably made, or the shirts and overshirts that form the foundation of our Neem wardrobe, we want Neem to stand proudly among the top 10 sustainable men’s fashion brands shaping a better future...

Lambs Conduit is Our Spiritual Home
Lamb’s Conduit Street, with its independent spirit and quiet integrity, feels like the right home for that mission. The Lambs Conduit Collection is built for a summer in the city: light, breathable, modern pieces that move easily from morning coffee to late‑afternoon sun.
My personal favourite is Chambray Sky LCS Short Sleeve Overshirt. In my Jermyn Street days, I’ll admit I rather looked down on short sleeves. But maturity brings clarity, and I now see the beauty in a well‑cut one. Ours are shaped with intention: a slightly longer sleeve, a narrower hem, no flapping, no fuss.
I’m equally proud of the Duke ZQ Merino short sleeve, which has quietly become my daily companion. Soft, breathable, and unmistakably Neem.
Hidden Gems to Visit on LCS
If you’re visiting us to be styled and we hope you will, here are a few of the places to stop by afterwards. Have a look at our below video on the best places to eat on this secret street.
Knockbox Cafe:
-
For a flat white that never disappoints. Their toasties are a sinful joy; beloved by children and adults alike, though perhaps not by one’s GP.
The Espresso Room:
-
For a sharp, precise espresso. On warm days, ask for an ice cube; it’s a small revelation.
Noble Rot:
- Obvious, yes, but rightly so. A glass of wine or a weekday set lunch here is one of life’s quiet pleasures.
Huckle the Barber:
-
Friends of ours, and masters of their craft. Mention Neem for 10% off.
Ciao Bella:
-
For a joyful, unpretentious lunch. Sit upstairs only. The grappa left on the table at the end is the kind of old‑school hospitality we adore.
The Rugby Tavern:
-
Our choice for a pint. The shaded outdoor seating is London at its understated best.
La Fromagerie:
-
For a wedge of Montgomery cheddar and a crisp Chardonnay to take home.
These places, like the street itself, remind us why physical retail still matters. In a world increasingly shaped by algorithms, Lamb’s Conduit Street offers something algorithms cannot: human insight. A conversation. A moment of connection. A sense of belonging.
Come visit us at 38 Lambs Conduit Street or check out the collection here if you can’t yet make it down.
