Neem’s take on the versatile men’s bomber jacket, the Barnes Jacket, is a soft, low-impact layer built for everyday wear.

Crafted from 50% recycled cotton and 50% organic cotton in Como, Italy, the mid-weight recycled textured flannel is supremely soft while offering a balanced, comfortable structure.

The design is inspired by trips to Cornwall and is a recolour and rework of the Cornish national tartan, recycled fabric at its softest and most considered. This elegant cropped bomber jacket is cut for a relaxed, versatile fit, finished with deep side welt pockets and two internal pockets. Softly structured, slightly sporty, and true to the Neem dishevelled signature, it’s an easy-wearing piece that works from workday to weekend. Style formally with smarter Neem trousers and a navy rew neck or dress it down with a ZQ Merino T-shirt and denim.

Finished with six recycled mother-of-pearl buttons, it can be worn as a heavy overshirt or a soft structured jacket. Wear as a mid-layer in colder months or a top-layer bomber jacket in milder weather.

Crafted from a mid-weight recycled textured flannel, the jacket feels soft on the skin yet holds a clean, structured line. The recycled–organic cotton blend gives it a supremely soft feel while remaining durable enough for everyday wear, a fabric designed to last and soften beautifully over time.

Styling-wise, it’s a genuinely do-everything layer. Wear with heavy knitwear or an overshirt underneath. It also works equally well in warmer months simply worn with a T-Shirt as a top layer.

This recycled Bomber jacket is built to last and designed to be washed sparingly. The heavy recycled flannel naturally resists odour and holds its shape, so it doesn’t need cleaning after every wear. As an outer layer, it rarely sits against the skin, meaning less moisture, fewer marks, and fewer washes overall.

Washing too often can shorten fibre life and cause pilling, so washing less helps preserve the jacket’s softness and durability. When it does need a refresh, machine wash at 30°C and line dry to protect the fabric and reduce environmental impact. Please note: the fabric may shrink by around 3% after the first wash.

When you’ve worn it out, send it back through our Buy Back Scheme. Even if it’s stained or damaged, we can recycle the fibres into new fabric and offer you credit toward your next Neem piece.
