Denim is one of the world's most loved fabrics. It's also one of the most debated. That's why we took our time.
For our first denim jacket, we wanted something that felt authentically denim while staying true to Neem's belief that better materials make better clothes. The result is the Chancery Jacket, a modern take on the timeless chore coat, crafted from a remarkable 12oz denim made from 100% recycled cotton.
Developed with German textile innovators Santis, the fabric is created entirely from old denim jeans, with 80% coming from manufacturing waste and 20% from post-consumer garments. Recycled through a waterless, chemical-free process, it helps reduce the water consumption, pesticide use and land required by conventional cotton production.
The denim has all the character you'd expect from a great workwear fabric. Substantial yet surprisingly soft from day one, it will continue to soften and develop a unique denim patina with every wear, becoming more yours over time.
Designed for everyday versatility, the relaxed silhouette layers effortlessly over a T-shirt, knit or shirt. Two waist pockets, a chest pocket and two internal pockets provide practicality without compromising its clean, understated appearance.
Wear it as an easy jacket through spring and summer, as a layering piece through autumn and winter, or pair it with the matching trouser for a modern take on denim tailoring.
